PAN DE MUERTO/ SWEET BREAD

 Pan de Muerto is a traditional Mexican sweet bread made with butter and flavoured with orange blossom.

Soft and slightly sweet, it’s enjoyed during Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) to honour loved ones who have passed. Its round shape represents the circle of life, while the crossed dough “bones” symbolize the link between life and death—a tender, buttery tribute baked with love and remembrance.
